I joyfully write this blog as I prepare for the trip of a lifetime on July 20, 2012. I have been invited by a former student and his wonderful family to enjoy a week in a villa in Venice, Italy. I'm not sure what to expect, but from the pictures I've seen, I'm expecting a dazzling array of light, water, and color.
